Tactics

14 05 2009

I threw together some tactics for an upcoming battle the USCP has, and I decided to share them with you guys too.  I’m not sure how sound they are, and I’m sure one or two have already been thought up, so to prevent posting bad tactics, this post will remain protected until Meat evaluates the tactics and tips.

Basic Tactics and Tips

  • Don’t stay in a single group.  Split up into two or three groups surrounding the enemy.  It is harder to charge an army that isn’t in a single group.
  • Stand  in doors and exits.  An army charging a group near or in a door may find themselves in the next room.  To stand in a doorway without leaving the room, click on the doorway and open your mailbox.  Wait 5-10 seconds and close it.  If it doesn’t work, try it again and wait with your mailbox open for 10-15 seconds.
  • If all the doors are occupied, stand in a line at the very bottom of the screen.  Armies will find it very hard to cover up an army at the bottom of the screen in a charge.
  • Listen to everyone.  Just because someone is new doesn’t mean they can’t have a good idea.
  • Follow orders from superior officers.

The Grinder Charge (Formerly the Meat Grinder Charge) :P

Meat Grinder Charge

  1. We get in two lines.
  2. On the command, click the space between the two soldiers in front of you.  Click the “J” key.
  3. Return to your original space or regroup if told to.

Yeah, pretty simple.  It hasn’t been tested, so I’m not sure how effective it is.  The Grinder Charge was designed for the USCP, so the soldiers on the picture are in USCP uniform instead of ACP uniform.  I apologize.

That’s all for now!

Meat: I’m terribly sorry about the inactity, and i’ll be trying to keep this site more active. And nate you can post any pages you want, and we really need a header.

Hey everyone.  Nate here.  I’ve noticed we haven’t been posting much.  I’ll try to be a little more active on this site from now on.  With Meat’s permission I would like to make a couple new pages and possibly a header.  So… yeah…  That’s about it.  Sorry for the short post.  See you on chat!
